In 2012 Victory Church began a new relationship and official partnership with Melusi Christian Community, a Mission in South Africa serving the poorest of the poor in the surrounding townships to Dundee, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Melusi Christian Community is a multi-faceted ministry that offers a “food for work program” for the unemployed (this is where men and women can come to Melusi and work in varying capacities, in order to receive free food parcels), free housing and rehabilitation for drug and alcohol suffering men and a local crèche which operates kids clubs and feeding programs in the area. 

Melusi have recently begun a new outreach known as the Work4ALiving program – where people can come and participate in short courses to teach local people various skills such as merchandising, basic computer skills, sales assistance etc. For more information please contact Michelle at michelle@victorycc.com.au
